Pre-Hanukkah Celebration: Jewish Music Concert
December 9, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Come and enjoy wonderful music, share a laugh, and celebrate the Jewishness of some of history’s greatest musical minds. Included in the program are Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin, Songs of the Wayfarer by Gustav Mahler, and the beautiful Even When He is Silent, a poem that was found on a wall in a Jewish ghetto after World War II and set to music in 2011 by Kimberly Rosenthal. A pre-concert lecture with Q & A will begin at 6pm.
